The Credenza is a long, low cabinet in solid French oak, four doors set flush against each other with no visible gap between them. Rosewood knobs, dark against the pale oak, are the only note of contrast on an otherwise unbroken run of grain.
The frame is joined with dovetails left exposed at both ends, structural and visible, reading clean and tight with the slight variation in grain direction that only hand-fitting produces. Rosewood locking dowels secure the frame, the same material repeated in the four hand-turned knobs. The doors open on slim brass hinges and close on a magnetic door stop, no visible mechanism holding them shut.
Its length is its presence, low enough to stay grounded, long enough to anchor a room.
