The form is a triangular prism, four identical modules distinguished only by height. The American walnut runs dense and dark, the triangular geometry reading sharply against the dark grain.
Each module is a single open triangular pocket. Grouped together, several modules align against each other and the angles begin to read as division, the relationship between them shifting with how they're arranged.
Through rotation and assembly, the four modules produce a long run of configurations, complexity arriving by composition rather than by added parts. What appears simple at first glance is a piece of microarchitecture, each arrangement suggesting the next.
Made to order. Wood is a natural material, so grain and colour may vary, making each piece one of a kind.
